The EC2 drumheads with Edge Control Technology from Evans offer a "Pre-EQed" Sound using a damping process that ensures optimal sound for each individual fur size. The EC2 series from Evans offers two layers of 7mil foil, optimized for attack, tone, sustain length and light tuning of different sized heads. The Sound Shaping Technology (SST) Edge Control Ring on the bottom delivers an extremely balanced sound across the entire kit, as the ring size is tailored to the different head sizes.

Evans has been doing innovative work in the development and manufacture of drum heads for over 60 years.
