The completely redesigned Pocket Amp, now in its MK 2 version, offers an expanded range of all the classic tube amp sounds, from highly overload-resistant clean tones to massively distorted, overdriven tones. With three-way switches for amplifier characteristics, gain structure, and speaker microphone simulation, the modified circuitry of the Pocket Amp MK 2 allows for authentic vintage and modern sounds, as well as custom sound creations. Extremely powerful operational amplifiers achieve exceptionally low noise. Master controls for overdrive level and output level, plus a 2-band EQ specifically tailored for guitar, ensure flexible and precise tone shaping.
In addition to balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.35 mm jack outputs, the stage-ready die-cast aluminum housing features an AUX input and a 3.5 mm mini-jack headphone output. This makes the Palmer Pocket Amp MK 2 not only the ideal tool for direct recording, but it can also be used as a practice amp, overdrive or distortion pedal, and DI box. With a PA and monitor system, it can even replace a stage amp. The Pocket Amp MK 2 requires a 9-volt battery or a power adapter, such as the Palmer PW9V.
