Please have a guitarist explain how to tune a guitar if you are a beginner and have never tuned a guitar before! The tuner cannot show you anything if the basic tuning of the guitar is absolutely not right!
Very easy to use!
1. Use the right power button to switch the device on/off (press and hold the button for 2 seconds).
2. Use the mode button to select the desired instrument. In CHRO. mode, the detected tone is displayed. In instrument mode (GUITAR, BASS, VIOLIN,UKULELE, the detected tone and string number are displayed.
To tune with the built-in microphone, please ensure a quiet environment first. Place the tuner with the integrated stand (back) on a table and point the sound opening of the instrument towards the microphone (MIC) in the tuner. Play the first note and observe the LCD display.
To tune Electric guitars/basses or to connect a clip microphone, use the 6.3mm jack connection (INPUT). You can connect an amplifier etc. via the OUTPUT jack connection.
3. Always play only one tone and check whether the tone has been recognized correctly (display at the top right). If the tone is incorrect, you must first set the correct tone (rough tuning). Watch the pointer display (or LED display). Tune the instrument in very small steps until the needle display points to 0 and the green LED lights up. Repeat these steps until all notes on the instrument are in tune.
4. You can use the A4 button to increase or decrease the frequency to the concert pitch A (440Hz).
