Please have a guitarist explain how to tune a guitar to you if you are a beginner and have never tuned a guitar before! The tuner cannot show you anything if the basic tuning of the guitar is absolutely not right!
Short instructions:
1. Turn on the tuner by pressing and holding the POWER button until the display lights up.
2. Select metronome or tuner by holding down the M/T button and briefly tapping the POWER button.
Tuner:
1. Use the M/T button to select the desired instrument. When you select an instrument, the tuner automatically recognizes the tone and displays it with the string number. In the CHRO function. (chromatic) only the sound is displayed.
2. If you want to tune the instrument with the tuner's built-in microphone, ensure a quiet environment and bring the opening of the sound hole close to the tuner. Play a tone and check whether the tone was recognized correctly. You can now use the needle indicator to see whether the tone is too high or too low. In addition, the 3 LEDs above the needle display help you fine tune. Only turn the mechanical knob in small increments and watch the display on the tuner! Tune each note individually.
3. You can connect electric guitars and electric basses to the tuner with a jack plug (6.3 mm); the built-in microphone is automatically switched off. Now tune your instrument as described above. You can then also use the INPUT connection for the contact microphone. This makes it possible to tune acoustic guitars in loud environments. You can use OUTPUT to connect to an amplifier or listen via the headphone jack. The headphone jack can also be used for discreet practice.
Metronome:
1. Switch to METRO by holding the M/T button and tapping the POWER button.
2. Use the arrow keys to set the speed of the metronome (this is displayed at the top left of the display). Use the VALUE button to switch the clock. The metronome starts by tapping the POWER button. The volume can be adjusted on the right with VOL. set. Of course you can also connect headphones for the metronome. Briefly tapping the POWER button switches the metronome off again. The device switches off automatically when not in use. The device can also be switched off manually by continuously pressing the POWER button.
