Thirty years ago, Cort collaborated with renowned guitar maker Rob Elrick of Elrick Bass to develop the Cort version of the Elrick e-volution bass, which quickly gained popularity among bass enthusiasts.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Elrick Bass Guitars, the two have teamed up again to develop the Cort Elrick NJS bass series. The NJS models stand for New Jazz Standard.
