A music stand is quick to set up: unfold the legs, stand it up, adjust the height, align the music rest – done! If only it were that simple... sometimes it rattles here, then the clamping screw doesn't tighten properly anymore, and the rest slowly but surely tilts backward. And when an entire choir or music school group needs to be equipped, the details of a stand's construction determine whether the performance or rehearsal gets off to a good start or not...
With the NS 441 W folding music stand, Gravity® has considered all these potential pitfalls. The stable tripod construction made of sturdy steel stands firmly on the ground and can be locked quickly and easily. The real innovation, however, is located higher up: here you'll find two clamping collars that were specially developed for the NS 441 W. Instead of laboriously adjusting the height of the music rest using clamping screws – and then realizing that the screw connection has been overtightened and no longer engages properly – you simply fold one or both cuffs upwards, pull out the stand tube, and push the cuffs back down. Now just fan out the music rest, tilt it, tighten it, and you're done! Furthermore, the music stand can be folded down to a particularly compact size and stored in the included neoprene carrying case. This offers two advantages: firstly, it allows you to transport several stands without them getting tangled up or slipping out of your hand at the worst possible moment. Secondly, the neoprene material is unaffected by a bit of rain, so you can save yourself the tedious task of drying it after an open-air performance. Whether practicing at home, in the rehearsal room with the band, at music school, or as a choir director – with the NS 441 W, Gravity® offers you a flexible and stable companion that is quick and easy to set up and take down.
