The best, selected spruce wood is just good enough for our luthiers for the top of an HF concert guitar. If the instrument is played regularly, the solid spruce top will develop in tone over time, similar to a good wine that has reached its full maturity after a few years.

All instruments in the classic series are manufactured in our workshops in Hagenau, Bavaria. We have been producing classical guitars since 1930 and have since dedicated a significant part of our production to instruments for schoolchildren and students. That's why we have a wealth of experience in designing and manufacturing good quality handcrafted guitars that don't cost a fortune. We only use first-class woods to produce the Classic series: solid spruce for a clear sound or solid cedar for a slightly warmer tone. Careful adjustment and meticulous final inspection are a given for every guitar. We are proud of our Classic Series and are confident you will be proud to own one!

The classic series starts at under 400, - a price range that makes it hard to believe that this is a hand-made German product. But it's true! This series is ideal for students and it also allows the advanced player to play a handcrafted German guitar without having to rob a bank!
