For almost three decades, the RG design from Ibanez has held the undisputed top position among metal guitars.

Ibanez is more than appropriately carrying on this tradition with the GRG170DX. Classic contours of the RG design including a lowered armrest and "tummy cut" ensure absolute control in terms of handling and playing feel on both the leg and the strap, while the legendary Wizard neck profile - known for ultimately flat necks - provides the ideal basis for fast licks and leads. Not least thanks to the large fingerboard radius.

In-house Infinity pickups in the H/S/H setup deliver a versatile sound, from the bitingly aggressive sounds of the bridge position to the central warmth of the neck humbucker. Accordingly, the Gio GRG170DX is extremely versatile and is actually available for everyone from blues to rock to metal. Finally, the hardware used is a Fat-10 tremolo with 2-point suspension and encapsulated tuning mechanisms.
