Custom-made cuffs (hand protection) for surface protection. The LEATHER SPECIALTIES company produces tailor-made cuffs that fit the respective instrument models. Each handguard is sewn from three layers. Between a soft fabric layer and an outer layer of black leather lies a cellophane insert that protects the instrument from moisture. All leather cuffs for trombones are also equipped with a practical pencil holder
