The Celebrity series is the introduction to the world of Ovation.
Here everyone can find their Roundback® original at an attractive price.

Even the acoustic sound is white. to convince, because the instruments in this line mainly have solid spruce or cedar tops. For optimal sound development, most models have a Scalloped Quartersawn X-Bracing – a cross-arranged wooden structure is used to stabilize the ceiling. The exception is the Elite Deluxe model, which is equipped with Quintad Bracing (ray-shaped strips).

All guitars in the Ovation Celebrity series have a Nato neck and, depending on the model, are available in Mid-Depth, Super Shallow, or Deep Contour Lyrachord®Body versions.

The electro-acoustic signal processing starts with an Ovation Slimline pickup at the bridge of the guitar, which - as the name suggests — stands out due to its narrow design. The pressure point on the piezo crystals is increased via the toothed bridge inlay, which promotes a particularly even sound. Before the signal leaves the guitar, it is refined by an Ovation OP4BT preamp with 3-band EQ and built-in tuner.

The Celebrity Series instruments are divided into the Traditional and Elite lines, which are differentiated by the types of sound holes used (Center Soundhole or Multi Soundholes). The addition Plus indicates guitars whose tops have been upgraded with special woods.

To round off the sound quality, all Celebrity guitars, depending on the model, are factory-equipped with high-quality strings from Adamas or Hannabach.

Elite Series:

The Ovation Celebrity Elite Series instruments are something special, both to the eye and to the ear.

They are equipped with the Ovation-typical Multi Soundholes. This innovative design uses several small openings on the edge of the guitar top, instead of a single, central sound hole.

This has two positive effects: on the one hand, the available vibration area in the middle of the ceiling increases, and on the other hand, the sound comes out much closer to the ear of the person playing.

In addition, the Multi Soundholes are also a visually enriching change and a guaranteed eye-catcher on the stage.
