Wide range of sounds and rhythms onboard
The sounds and rhythms in the BK-3 cover a range of different music genres from around the world, including Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia. There are over 850 sounds and 50 different drum kits built in, which enable a sound universe for playing melodies and accompaniments. Compatibility with GM2, GS and XG Lite formats ensures high-quality playback with standard MIDI files.

Play backing tracks and rhythms via USB stick
The BK-3 is capable of playing backing tracks in a variety of formats from an optional USB stick, including WAV and MP3 audio, SMF and Roland rhythms (BK, E, G and VA series). The pitch and speed can be easily adjusted to your own voice and playing style, even with audio files. An additional center cancel function makes it possible to reduce the volume of the vocals in a WAV/MP3 song. Ideal for karaoke and Minus-One applications.

Simple audio recordings
The recording function is easy to access at any time on the front of the device. Your recordings will be saved in CD quality in WAV format on an optional USB stick. This way you can easily copy the songs to a computer and burn them to a CD for friends and family.

Roland Wireless Connect for iPhone and iPad
BK-3 users can communicate with their iPad or iPhone using the optionally available USB WiFi stick WNA1100-RL. Apps like the Air Recorder to record your BK-3 performance on your iPhone or the Lyrics Viewer, which streams the lyrics of your SMF songs to your iPad, are already available - and completely free!
You can also use “Show Your Music” Create your own music videos and share them on a social network of your choice!
