Schneider: Master Craftsmanship for Recorders

Recorders - sonorous tradition from master hands

Many recorders in different sizes and colors.

You want to discover the world of recorders ? Then Schneider is the right place for you!

Led by master recorder maker Gerald Schneider, the small company looks back on a long tradition that stretches back to 1864. At that time, Albertus Schneider began manufacturing woodwind instruments in the tranquil town of Zwota in the Vogtland region. Since then, the company has been run by four generations, with each generation making an important contribution to the development and expansion of the product range.

Today the factory concentrates exclusively on the handcrafted production of recorders. Gerald Schneider, who took over the business together with his brothers in 1989, produces various recorder models in his workshop - from Sopranino and Soprano recorders, Alto and Tenor recorders, all the way to Kindergarten flutes. All work steps, from cutting the wood to the finished instrument, take place in the in-house workshop.

The production is also ecological and sustainable, because the recorders are made from local woods such as sycamore, pear and cherry. In addition to the instruments themselves, the workshop also produces recorder bags and wipers in-house and can therefore offer a complete, worry-free package for all recorder players.

Schneider flutes are only available from specialist retailers and we are one of the Lucky for those who can pass these great products on to you.

So take a look at our Schneider range and get yourself a piece of traditional craftsmanship that will impress you with its sound and quality.

We look forward to seeing you.
