The VOX Bobcat and Lynx were already a real sensation in the mid-1960s. In addition to their beautiful vintage look, this was also due to the fact that they were semi-acoustic guitars and were equipped with three pickups.
Based on the original models, VOX has reissued the British Invasion. The historical design has been preserved. Only the technical details have been modernized. The body, pickguard, pickup and headstock logo take on the retro look from the 60s.
However, the gaming culture has changed. Thanks to the glued neck connection, the highest frets are easier to reach. The fixed Tune-o-Matic bridge enables optimal string positioning for smoother playing. The semi-resonance principle, based on a weight-relieving central block, improves sustain and counteracts feedback even at high levels. The pickups, which still produce the retro look and sound, have also been technically revised. They still deliver a distinctive sound that fundamentally distinguishes the VOX Bobcat from other semi-acoustic guitars. This guitar impresses with its uniqueness across the board - both in design and in sound.
