The VOX AC Custom series is now also available in the top version with box
The VOX AC30CH and AC15CH are tops that are entirely based on the classic AC30. Thanks to the new reactive damping, they are even more flexible and impress both on stage and at living room volume.

Amplifier tops and box with the classic VOX look and sound
Like all amps in the Custom series, the AC30CH and AC15CH heads contain 12AX7 preamp and EL84 power tubes.
For the “classic” For British sound, we recommend using the V212C box with two 12” Celestion G12M Greenback speakers.
Separate volume controls are available for the normal and top boost channels. The top boost channel also offers a treble and a bass control. In the master section there is a VOX Tone Cut and a Master Volume control, with which the unrivaled VOX sounds - from perlig “clean” to brutal oversteer– can be achieved.
Of course, the AC30CH and AC15CH also contain the VOX tremolo effect and the spring reverb of the Custom series. These effects can be activated/deactivated with an optional VOX VFS2A footswitch.

What about ‘reactive cushioning’ meant?
This is a newly developed attenuation circuit that uses VOX Reactor technology to measure how strongly the box is driven and optimizes the interaction of the box with the amplifier. The advantage of this approach is that the sound at home at low volume is just as fat and assertive as at a rehearsal or concert. You won't find such a realistic approach anywhere else.
