The YAS-280 saxophones are based on the popular 275 series, but have some additional innovations:

New Reinforced S-bow recording:

The new S-bow recording improves the sound, ensures a quick response and has improved stability.

Improved low H/C# connection:

The improved low H-C# connection with a longer lever supports this Closing the low C# key ensures improved response to the low tones and enables permanently more precise adjustment.

Adjustable thumb hook:

All Yamaha saxophones have an adjustable thumb hook to be able to set a comfortable hand position.
