Product Description

The YAS-280 saxophones provide a perfect start as they were specially designed for young beginners. They are relatively light in weight and have a particularly ergonomic shape, making them easy to hold and play. As we know from Yamaha, the intonation is perfect and the sound is first-class. Yamaha's design provides beginners with optimal support and promotes both the students' learning process and their creativity.
The YAS-280 saxophones are based on the popular 275 series, but have some additional innovations:

New Reinforced S-bow recording:

The new S-bow recording improves the sound, ensures a quick response and has improved stability.

Improved low H/C# connection:

The improved low H-C# connection with a longer lever supports this Closing the low C# key ensures improved response to the low tones and enables permanently more precise adjustment.

Adjustable thumb hook:

All Yamaha saxophones have an adjustable thumb hook to be able to set a comfortable hand position.
