Maracas are a type of instrument known as vessel rattles. They consist of a hollow body, different fillings and a handle. They are used in pairs, can be played alternately or simultaneously.
The most important features at a glance:
- Tone: warm
- Material: Beech
- Treatment: waxed
- Color: natural
- Lid material: Jotoba
- Length: 180 mm / 7,092′
- Diameter: 45 mm / 1,773′
The medium maracas are made of the finest local beech wood and have a warm sound. The upper part of the sound body is made of darker Jatoba wood. This means that the rattle differs visually from the Rohema High Maracas, which sounds bright. The maracas are filled with steel sand.
The ergonomically comfortable shape of the handles makes it possible for children from crèche to primary school age to produce happy sounds in a comfortable and easy way.
