The Rohema Concert Piano is a further development of the proven General Drumstick. The range of applications of our Concert series is expanded with three different, slightly different versions of the General.
The most important features at a glance:
- Wood type: Red Hornwood
- Surface: oil wax finish
- Tip: round
- Weight: very heavy
- Length: 405 mm / 15,957′
- Diameter: 16 mm / .630″
Red Hornwood, a plywood made specifically for Rohema in Germany, forms the basis of the Concert Piano. This wood offers unparalleled consistency in both density and rebound, eliminating the need for endangered tropical woods. For a pleasant feel and optimal control, the wood is refined with an oil wax finish in a two-stage process.
The Concert Piano has the smallest head (8.5mm Ø) of the new Concert models, but the highest weight. This offers the player excellent sound projection and extremely little deflection in the wrist. In addition, buzz rolls, open rolls and singles are very easy to control. Like the Mezzo and Forte models, the Concert Piano is 405 millimeters long and has a diameter of 16 millimeters.
