The Rohema Concert Riedhammer 1 was developed in collaboration with Arnold F. Riedhammer. This stick contains more than 45 years of experience as a solo drummer with the Munich Philharmonic under Maestro Sergiu Celibidache.
The most important features at a glance:
- Wood type: Red Hornwood
- Surface: oil wax finish
- Tip: teardrop-shaped
- Weight: medium heavy
- Length: 394 mm / 15,524′
- Diameter: 14 mm / .552″
The mallet is made of Red Hornwood, a plywood made from German beech, which is refined with an oil wax finish in a specially developed two-stage process. This wood is particularly heavy and has a high density, and the finish ensures the best grip.
The Concert Riedhammer 1 Stick has a teardrop-shaped head. It produces a clear attack with a warm sound. Just like the Concert Riedhammer 2, it is particularly suitable for quiet playing or for auditions.
