Notes: The hoop determines the outside diameter of the head, the size information determines the crown diameter at the ridge. LP bongo heads have the same outside diameter with the same crown diameter, regardless of the type of hoop. The specified head sizes correspond to the effective crown diameter (for bongos and djembes, the largest diameter of the shell). This is a measure to harmonize sizing with REMO and LP Congas. For LP bongos with manufacturer specifications of 5 1/2", 7 1/4" and 8 5/8" choose 5 1/4", 7" and 8.5" Skins.
