The shaft of the agate baton is made of light, white; painted carbon. We use Black Hornwood, a beech plywood, for the handle. The light coloring with our wax-oil finish beautifully highlights the natural structure of the wood and is reminiscent of the grain of the agate gemstone.

With the teardrop-shaped handle, the agate, like the ruby baton, is a special feature and sits very comfortably in the hand. Due to the length of the handle of 76 millimeters, the round upper end offers extra support in almost any hand position. Combined with the balance point located far back and the low weight of only 15 grams, the agate is the ideal companion, even for long-lasting concerts.
