Product Description
The 1847 CLASSIC PowerDraw, a harmonica that impresses with its innovation and still meets all traditional requirements - a master instrument that combines successful design with excellent playing characteristics, voluminous sound and previously unknown longevity and in this combination sets new standards. Extremely airtight design and SEYDEL's unique stainless steel reeds. The PowerDraw tuning is very easy to learn: The usual breathing patterns from the chambers 1-6 (the blast tone is tuned lower than the drawing tone) are continued in the PowerDraw up to the tenth cell. This gives anyone playing in channels 7-10 the same familiar feeling as in the registers below: All techniques and riffs that can be played in channels 1-6 now also work in the upper register (also click on ''Tone Chart'' above). Most of the Richter tuning (channels 1-6) stays exactly the same, so you don't have to learn anything new and can play as usual. Simplified playing technique: There are no blowbendings and overdraws on the PowerDraw. Two of the most important blues notes that are important in the 2nd position (minor third = overblow 6 on the Richter and the diminished fifth = overdraw 7) can now be achieved using simple draw bends. Every draw note (from 6-10!) can now be played easily! Each channel offers overblows (and the high pitch overblows are easier to play than the Richter tuning overdraws). The PowerDraw tuning works well with the chord playing of tongue-tapping players. The tones in the upper octave are almost identical to those of the Richter octave, but the intervals are different. It's very easy to get used to the new intervals. The PowerDraw works very well in other playing positions, especially in the 3rd position (nice, useful bending tones in the upper octave), in the 5th position (good expressive possibilities in the upper range). Also in the 2nd position in minor (no overblow necessary to play the minor third) and 11th and 12th positions (improved expressive possibilities in the upper octave). If you're currently comfortable playing channels 1-6 on a Richter harmonica (or playing our BIG SIX), then PowerDraw is a very good choice for you!
