The PowerBender tuning is composed of the best parts of the traditional Richter tuning - but the tone sequence is changed so that the really important tones are much easier to achieve and across all three ocaves of the instrument. The usual breathing patterns from chambers 1-5 (the blast tone is tuned lower than the draw note) Overdraws cannot be played on the PowerBender - they are not needed because they can be achieved by simple draw bending. The blow bends in the upper octave are replaced by normal draw bends - each draw note can be bent down at least a semitone. Easy to play in the upper octave (intuitive), because usual phrasing You can play in channels 1-5, even in the upper octave. Easy to play in the most common playing positions: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th and 12th position.
