Product Description

Power Bender Tuning: In channels 1 through 5, the familiar breathing patterns are retained: the blow note is always below the draw note. However, the pitch arrangement differs from Richter tuning, which allows some notes to be reached in a different way. For example, overdraws are not needed, as these notes can instead be played using draw bends. The Power Bender also follows a different concept in the upper octave. Instead of the usual blow bends, draw bends are available, so that every draw note can be bent down by at least a semitone. This keeps many movements and phrasings comparable across all octaves.

The Power Bender is suitable for playing in the common positions, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, and 12th positions, and offers players an interesting alternative for blues as well as many other musical styles.

Anyone wanting to discover new playing possibilities or learn a different approach to playing the blues harmonica will find the PowerBender an exciting alternative to classic Richter tuning.
