Product Description

The SESSION STEEL PowerBender is an upgrade of our successful SESSION model. It impresses with a fantastic new look, outstanding technical reliability, excellent playing comfort, and a great sound. The PowerBender tuning incorporates the best aspects of traditional Richter tuning, but the note sequence is modified so that the truly important notes are much easier to reach across all three octaves of the instrument. The usual breathing patterns from chambers 1-5 (the blow note is always tuned lower than the draw note) Overdraws not playable PowerBenders - they are not needed because they can be achieved by simple draw-bending The blow bends in the upper octave are replaced by ordinary draw-bends - every draw note can be bent down by at least a semitone Easy playing in the upper octave (intuitive) because familiar phrasings that can be played in chambers 1-5 are also possible in the upper octave Easy to play in the most common playing positions: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th and 12th positions. The sealed maple comb and stainless steel reeds work together to produce a balanced sound. The classically shaped soundboards without side slots perfectly complete the traditional style with the 1847 stamp. The wide opening projects the sound directly to the listener.
