Product Description

Natural Minor Tuning: The natural minor scale uses the same notes as the parallel major scale. For example, the notes of the C major scale (C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C) are the same as those of the A minor scale (A minor = A natural minor = A-B-C-D-E-F-G-A). This scale sounds "sad," and everything played on this harmonica takes on a minor character (all major thirds are tuned down a semitone). Both the blow and draw chords sound in minor. This makes it easier to intuitively play minor pieces.

Thanks to its ergonomic shape and its particularly lip- and beard-friendly design, the SESSION Steel is the most popular harmonica for beginners. However, professional players also appreciate it highly, especially because of the internal reed plates and the mellow sound.
