The VOX TELSTAR MAPLE is based on the legendary VOX drum kit from the 1960s and immediately attracts everyone's attention, not least because of its unusually shaped bass drum. The oval bass drum shell is not only a visual highlight, but also enables different kick sounds by moving the foot pedal to the side. In true style, the kit comes with matching vintage flat-base hardware, even including a cymbal holder for direct mounting on the bass drum.
In order to maintain a particularly high quality standard, the set is manufactured under the supervision of the SAKAE OSAKA HERITAGE development team. Maple was chosen for the shell material for this model, as this type of wood is known for its particularly warm sound character, deep bass and present high mids, which means that the overall sound of the kit sounds particularly balanced. The finish made of natural wood surface combined with the black hoops of the bass drum gives the kit an elegant and timelessly stylish touch.
