Product Description

The JBL PRX815W is a lightweight front and monitor speaker, weighing just 21.6 kg. Its integrated bi-amp power module includes two 750-watt amplifiers and a DSP with all controller functions. These can be individually configured via Wi-Fi and the PRX Connect app. It produces a maximum sound pressure level of 137 dB peak. The EQ setting can be switched between "front" and "monitor" depending on the application. Additional features include two inputs, each with XLR, 1/4" jack, and RCA connectors, as well as a switchable XLR output for routing the input signal. The input sensitivity is switchable from Mic to Line.

Due to the dual tripod flange, M10 mounting points, and multifunctional enclosure design, it is suitable for both front PA and monitor systems. The JBL PRX815W's low weight is due to a combination of a specially developed neodymium tweeter, Differential Drive woofers, and the highly efficient digital Class-D amplifier circuitry.

The enclosure is made of sturdy plywood and coated with JBL's durable DuraFlex finish. The front grille is made of powder-coated steel and backed with acoustically transparent fabric. It effectively protects the components from mechanical damage.

The JBL PRX815W can be used with the 15" The low-frequency speaker can be operated both alone in full-range mode and in combination with a subwoofer from the JBL PRX800W series.
