DELTA 4PM is a passive 4-channel microphone splitter for professional audio applications. It is part of the Palmer Audio-over-Cat ecosystem. It enables the reliable distribution of microphone signals to multiple outputs without the need for an external power supply.

DELTA 4PM complies with the common AES72 Type 5E standard and is fully compatible with Audio-over-Cat systems. It integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructures.

Each of the four channels features a THRU output for passing through phantom power, as well as two galvanically isolated, transformer-balanced XLR outputs. The circuitry is designed with impedance matching and resistance-coupled isolation to ensure clean signal routing, prevent ground loops, and reliably pass through phantom power. Alternatively, all four channels can be transmitted over a single Cat cable. This is ideal for permanent installations where cable routing needs to be limited or inconspicuous. The robust 19" (1U) housing is designed for standard rack mounting in stationary and mobile applications. The rotating rack brackets allow for flexible front or rear mounting and make frequently used connections more easily accessible. The DELTA 4PM microphone splitter is ideal for live sound, permanent installations, or studio applications where passive microphone signal distribution, audio-over-cat integration, and uncompromising operational reliability are required.
