Want to capture the raw signal from your guitar, bass, or keyboard without noise or signal loss, even over long cable runs? That's exactly what the Palmer Elde does – simply and reliably. The Elde is a classic passive DI box, and it even features two channels. You can use it for stereo signals or for two different instruments. Each input is routed to a Thru Out, so the signal is sent to your guitar/bass amplifier. For very high-level signals, each channel has its own pad switch (-30 dB), allowing you to insert the Elde between the amplifier output and your speaker. The output signals are balanced and low-impedance, ensuring they can withstand even long cable runs without damage. Impedance conversion and balancing are handled passively via a transformer, which also provides galvanic isolation. Each channel has its own ground lift switch to eliminate hum loops. The Palmer Elde is a high-quality, two-channel DI box that is extremely easy to use. Its passive design means it requires neither batteries nor phantom power, making it exceptionally reliable. With its robust aluminum/steel housing, the Palmer Elde easily withstands the rigors of live performance, and its clean, uncolored sound makes it a great choice for studio use as well.
