Whether you're a DJ, live band, solo entertainer, or at the next party: for everyday live performances, you need a sound system that delivers consistently excellent results – with professional sound for diverse applications, a wide range of connections and accessories for quick on-site setup, and maximum reliability. In short: your sound system needs to perform at its best around the clock. With the DAVE 10 G4X, the search is over. LD Systems has completely redesigned and fine-tuned this active 2.1 sound system. So all you need to do is set up the 10" subwoofer and the two satellites with dual 4" drivers (total power: 680 W peak) and connect your equipment – the sound will impress you from the start. With the integrated 6-channel mixer, you have all microphones, instruments, and signals under control – thanks to integrated Bluetooth, you can also stream wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet. The first two channels of the mixer are designed as a channel strip. Here you can connect a microphone, a high-impedance instrument – for example, a guitar and bass – as well as line-level sources. For sound shaping, there is a 2-band EQ for bass and treble, as well as an adjustable reverb with three presets (Small, Large, Plate). Channels 3 and 4 are designed as stereo line inputs and are suitable for keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines, or small electronic drum kits, among other things. The DAVE 10 G4X sound system becomes even more versatile when you use the digital SPDIF stereo input or the Bluetooth connection to connect a CD player, computer, or smartphone. Need some backing tracks or sound effects for your gig and want to play some music before the concert starts? No problem. The inputs (channels 5 and 6) can also be used for a karaoke system or simply to reproduce a TV broadcast in a sports bar with excellent sound. Speaking of excellent sound: The DAVE 10 G4X has been completely redesigned and developed. This benefits not only instruments and music, but also speech intelligibility if you occasionally want to use the sound system for lectures, speeches, or panel discussions. The DAVE 10 G4X features a new dome tweeter and waveguides for homogeneous dispersion, as well as FIR filters and state-of-the-art DSP technology for transparent, distortion-free sound – thanks to the optimized bass reflex system in the subwoofer with minimal fan noise. The DAVE 10 G4X sound system is a 2.1 stereo system with two selectable stereo presets. Typically, you would place the two satellite speakers to the left and right in the room or on a stage. The classic stereo preset is designed for this. However, for a particularly space-saving setup, the two satellite speakers can also be mounted on a single T-stand above the subwoofer. Since the satellite speakers are very close together in this case, interference is inevitable. For this purpose, there is a dedicated preset (cluster mode) with a special M/S split to reproduce the stereo signal without interference. This also gives you more headroom and directivity. LD Systems has considered all common application possibilities when it comes to accessories. The range extends from custom-fit bags and a trolley to the aforementioned T-stand, a pole-mount tripod, or a wall mount for the satellite speaker.
