Product Description

This highly professional 2-way loudspeaker is designed for absolute, long-lasting reliability. With its multifunctional bass-reflex enclosure, it is suitable as a full-range speaker, satellite, and monitor in mobile and installed PA systems. The STINGER® 28 G3 boasts a high power handling capacity of 400 watts continuous power and achieves a maximum sound pressure level of 125 dB. Its two specially developed 8” woofers and the BMS tweeter deliver powerful bass and crisp, natural highs. The tweeter's waveguide was developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces reflections from floors and ceilings, prevents secondary peaks, and thus achieves controlled, homogeneous dispersion. Phase plugs positioned directly in front of the two 8” woofers increase efficiency in the midrange and reduce distortion above the crossover frequency. The STINGER® 28 G3 is designed as a true workhorse. The robust birch plywood enclosure, with its extremely durable polyurea coating, offers exceptional stability and longevity. Features include a steel front grille, dual-tilt stand mount, rigging points, and ergonomic handles. The STINGER® 28 G3 is an attractively priced solution for professional sound reinforcement; extensive accessories support its use on stage and in permanent installations.
