The U500® series was designed around your needs. With the professional user always in mind, our engineers have developed an elegant, user-friendly wireless conference system that enables effective communication through outstanding voice quality and the use of state-of-the-art technology. The U500® Wireless Conference Set guarantees the success of your meetings, sessions, and discussions.

The U500® microphone units feature a gooseneck condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern and an LED status indicator. The heavy-duty desktop base includes an XLR microphone input with 28V phantom power, an on/off/mute button, gain control, and a switchable 130Hz high-pass filter that effectively reduces proximity effect and handling noise. A high-contrast OLED display shows the radio frequency, battery status, microphone unit number, group, and channel. The audio transmission range is from 60 Hz to 16 kHz. For quick and convenient system setup, the 4-channel receiver of the U500® conference system features automatic frequency and channel search, infrared synchronization, a digital encoder, and four buttons for direct access to individual channels. The high-contrast OLED display provides a complete overview of all functions and settings, such as audio and radio signal strength, priority, and battery level of the microphones. To suppress crosstalk, feedback, and comb filtering effects, the number of simultaneously enabled microphones can be set. Selectable automatic or manual gate adjustment and a pilot tone ensure first-class sound quality and interference immunity for the U500® conference system. In addition to individual channel outputs, the receiver features a summed output, an access lock prevents unauthorized changes to the settings, and the RS-232 interface allows integration into external control systems. Up to five U500® receivers can be cascaded and operated in master-slave mode for system expansion, providing a maximum of 20 intercom stations. The U500® conference system is available in three versions operating in the radio frequency ranges of 554–586 MHz, 662–694 MHz, or 823–832 MHz + 863–865 MHz.
