We hope you love it as much as we do – the new U500® Wireless Instrument Set from LD Systems. With selectable transmit power up to 30 mW, the U500® Instrument Sets achieve a range of over 100 meters in open field conditions. They are available for three radio frequency bands: 584–608 MHz and 655–679 MHz, in which you can operate 12 systems simultaneously in each band, and six systems simultaneously in the 823–832 MHz and 863–865 MHz bands. For a distortion-free audio signal, the bodypack's gain control allows for a maximum of 27 dB of attenuation, perfectly matching active and passive guitars and basses, or wind instruments with high sound pressure levels. Even the lowest bass notes are precisely reproduced thanks to the frequency response extending down to 30 Hz. The receiver's output impedance and level can be switched for direct connection to guitar and bass amplifiers. The U500® True Diversity UHF wireless systems feature an automatic scan function that finds the best available frequency. This, along with convenient one-touch infrared synchronization of the transmitter and receiver, simplifies setup. High-contrast OLED displays provide an optimal overview of functions, showing group, channel, radio frequency, signal strength, and battery status. Custom user names can also be entered. In addition to the squelch, an inaudible pilot tone from the bodypack ensures interference-free operation. It protects against interference and mutes the receiver when a radio signal without this tone is present. The effective U500® technology with high-quality components achieves precise, distortion-free transmission without latency or artifacts. The low power consumption ensures a transmitter operating time of up to 10 hours with two AA batteries. The U500® series instrument sets are available in two versions: for wind instruments with a clip-on microphone, or for guitars and basses with a low-capacitance cable that is double-shielded against interference.
