Stephan Emig worked on his signature stick for some time. He was looking for a drumstick with the fine cymbal response of a jazz stick, but with more wood in the hand than a 5A. This drumstick came out. A 5A shaft with a thin, slightly rounded tip for a clear sound on hihat or ride cymbals. The rebound of this stick model ensures stress-free, smooth play. It is perfect for unplugged and acoustic gigs, jazz, singer-songwriters or simply quieter pop or rock gigs. If you turn the stick over, you can play a few big backbeats without destroying it.
