Music only truly grooves when the bass makes your gut vibrate. With the ICOA SUB, you get as much bass as you want to rock the crowd and fill the dance floor. Or to give your presentation the necessary impact. The ICOA SUB not only delivers a powerful punch of bass, but it also gives you greater volume reserves and a more transparent sound. This is because the subwoofer relieves the main speakers, whose woofers are now less affected by high-energy bass impulses. This means lower intermodulation distortion: even at higher volumes, nothing gets muddy. Vocals and instruments remain crystal clear. Thanks to its powerful Class D amplifier with 400 watts RMS or 1600 watts peak power, you have plenty of power at your disposal. Using the presets of the integrated DynX DSP, you can perfectly tailor the ICOA SUB to your system, as it offers three selectable crossover frequencies: 80, 100, and 120 Hz. You can also switch the signal polarity and set a delay line for distances up to 10 meters. As your demands increase and the venues get bigger, your setup can grow with you. Of course, it's possible to operate multiple ICOA SUBs in parallel, giving you even more power. Using two ICOA SUBs also unlocks the option of cardioid mode. Normally, a subwoofer radiates sound in all directions; however, if you point one of the two SUBs to the rear and activate the cardioid preset, the bass frequencies are directed forward in a controlled manner. This means defined bass pressure without any booming in the back. The robust 18mm plywood enclosures are stackable and have an M20 thread on the top for mounting the main speakers via a distance rod. For transport, you can attach casters to the back; a corner foot protects the edge during setup and takedown. And to prevent the ICOA SUB from slipping out of your hands during transport, the four aluminum handles are rubberized. Whether you're a DJ, singer-songwriter, rock band, or dance band, the ICOA SUB is the perfect bass enhancement for live music. But it's also ideal for lectures and multimedia presentations at conferences, because transparent sound with powerful bass ensures an impressive performance everywhere!
