A complete sound system you can carry along with your instrument: that's the MAUI 28 G2. The two column elements fit in the padded shoulder bag, the subwoofer in one hand, and your guitar or keyboard in the other – that's it. Setting up this complete system, which functions as both a PA and monitor system, is just as easy thanks to the special multipin connectors. The compact and elegant MAUI 28 G2 offers unbeatable sound quality and wide-ranging sound dispersion. It was developed with years of experience in column system design as a user-friendly solution for mid-sized gigs and permanent installations. The MAUI 28 G2 is equipped with two 8” woofers, sixteen 3” full-range speakers, and two 1” neodymium pressure drivers. These are powered by a lightweight Class-D amplifier with a massive 2,000 watts peak power, producing powerful bass, balanced mids, and precise, silky highs. LD Systems' DynX® DSP technology ensures top-class performance and maximum distortion-free operation at all times. It includes a multiband limiter to protect against clipping, EQ, compressor, and a 3-way crossover with time alignment. The MAUI 28 G2's line array design achieves greater throw, increased feedback rejection, and wider room coverage, eliminating the need for separate monitor speakers. The tweeter waveguide was designed with the The MAUI 28 G2 utilizes the Edge Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces reflections from floors and ceilings, prevents side peaks, and thus achieves homogeneous sound dispersion – your audience hears you just as clearly in the back row as in the front. With the integrated 4-channel mixer, system presets for mono or stereo configuration, and Bluetooth® audio streaming, you have complete control over the system. As a singer-songwriter, solo entertainer, DJ, or musician in a small band, you'll be thrilled by the exceptional sound and portability of the MAUI 28 G2. The column and subwoofer can be set up separately, making the system extremely flexible and an excellent choice for permanent installations.
