Compact, powerful, and uncomplicated – a column PA is and remains the ideal partner for DJs and small bands. The MAUI series from LD Systems embodies the all-in-one concept in its purest form and offers an unbeatable PA package combining sound, design, technology, and handling. Set it up, plug it in, and you're done! The MAUI 11 G3 delivers a big, powerful, and precise sound with 730 W RMS power (1,460 W peak) that impresses in all applications: as a main PA for concerts, as a sound system for mobile DJs, or as a sound reinforcement system at weddings, corporate events, and other occasions. With its elegant design, the MAUI 11 G3 has a particularly harmonious appearance. The two aluminum column elements are positioned at the front edge of the subwoofer in the MAUI G3 series, further enhancing the seamless visual impression. These columns house six 3.5" midrange drivers, which, in combination with the innovative phase plug design and the two 1" tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with consistent horizontal dispersion. Furthermore, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters carries the high frequencies all the way to the rear of the audience. The developers also worked on the crossover point, the transition between the midrange and tweeter drivers, to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellations, making the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: exceptionally precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° dispersion area. The columns of the MAUI 11 G3 are designed as cardioid loudspeakers. This ensures controlled low-midrange frequencies at the front and attenuation of up to 18 dB at the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound field. With its two larger 8" drivers and four bass reflex ports, the audibly more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 39 Hz clearly and powerfully. When using a second subwoofer, the bass range can be boosted by 6 dB and operated in cardioid configuration at the touch of a button (preset). Furthermore, the extremely durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer easily withstands even the toughest demands on the road. The MAUI 11 G3 is a true sound machine, but it also impresses with its practical features for the everyday use of DJs, musicians, and technicians. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, the column PA becomes a versatile sound system. Transport is as easy as ever, and during setup, the improved, invisible connectors between the elements offer increased stability – nothing can easily throw the MAUI off balance...
