Compact, powerful, and uncomplicated – a column PA system is and remains the ideal partner for DJs and small bands. The MAUI series from LD Systems embodies the all-in-one concept in its purest form, offering an unbeatable PA package in terms of sound, design, technology, and handling. Set it up, plug it in, and you're done! This is especially true for the MAUI G3 MIX versions with their integrated 6-channel digital mixer. All components are included and perfectly matched: mixer, effects, dynamics processing, DSP controller, power amplifiers, and speakers. Wireless remote control via smartphone or tablet using the free MAUI app (iOS or Android) is also included. The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a highly developed, extremely powerful and smart premium-class column PA system with exceptionally superior audio quality. It delivers a big, powerful, and precise sound with 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak), convincing in all applications: as a main PA for singer/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ sets, or as a PA system for weddings, corporate events, and other occasions. The built-in 6-channel mixer adapts to the user's preferences via Easy or Expert mode. The user decides, for example, whether they prefer intuitive 3-band EQs or a 5-band fully parametric EQ. A comprehensive effects section provides the full range of reverb, delay, and dynamics processing options. All mixer and effects settings can be wirelessly controlled via the app. For stereo applications, two MAUI 28 G3 MIX units can be paired via SysLink®. In this case, twice the number of mixer channels is available, and with the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system. With its elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 MIX has a particularly harmonious appearance. The two aluminum column elements are located at the front edge of the subwoofer in the MAUI G3 series, which further enhances the seamless visual impression. The columns house 12 x 3.5" midrange drivers, which, in combination with the innovative phase-plug design and the 2 x 1" tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion. Furthermore, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters carries the high frequencies to the rear of the audience area. The crossover point, the transition between the midrange and tweeter drivers, was also meticulously engineered to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellation, resulting in an even more transparent and powerful sound. The result: exceptionally precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° dispersion area. The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid loudspeakers. This ensures controlled low-midrange frequencies at the front and attenuation of up to 18 dB at the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound field. With its larger 12" driver and four bass reflex ports, the audibly more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 37 Hz clearly and powerfully. When using a second subwoofer, the bass range can be boosted by 6 dB and operated in cardioid configuration at the touch of a button (preset). Furthermore, the subwoofer's extremely durable polyurea coating easily withstands even the toughest conditions "on the road." The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a true sound machine, but it also impresses with its practical features for everyday use by solo entertainers, singer-songwriters, or small bands. Transport is as easy as ever, and during setup, the improved, invisible connectors between the elements offer increased stability – nothing can easily throw the MAUI off balance...
