The MON 8 A G3 W belongs to a completely redesigned family of active stage monitors built to meet high performance demands. The MON G3 series incorporates the advanced technology and high-quality materials typically found in high-end monitors used primarily in professional applications. This quality is now accessible to everyone. Features include advanced coaxial drivers with an integrated 50° x 90° CD horn, ensuring the acoustic ideal of a true point source and thus outstanding audio characteristics even at close listening distances. Added to this are its robust construction, comprehensive features, and elegant LD Systems design. As the smallest member of the new stage monitor family, the MON 8 A G3 W is particularly discreet and versatile: it can be used as a stage monitor, in a DJ setup, on a speaker stand as a front-of-house speaker, as a satellite in 2.1 systems, or as a delay line speaker. The MON 8 A G3 W offers an unusually deep frequency response for its size, extending down to 59 Hz, and thus delivers full-range sound. Both the signal (XLR/TRS combo) and power connections (PowerCON compatible) can be daisy-chained. This allows for elegant, tidy cabling in multi-monitor setups or distributed sound reinforcement systems.
