Product Description

The Palmer ORBIT 11 is an active, 3-way coaxial studio monitor designed for mixing, mastering, post-production, sound design, broadcasting, and content creation. Its coaxial "True Point Source" design combines a 6.5" midrange driver and a 1" tweeter on a shared acoustic axis; with a consistent 120° x 120° dispersion pattern, it ensures stable imaging and a reliable balance across the entire listening area.

This controlled, uniform dispersion supports reliable balance and translation, while the cardioid-like front baffle design reduces rearward sound energy—and consequently, room reflections.

Low frequencies are handled by two force-canceling 8" woofers housed in a sealed, die-cast aluminum enclosure with wall thicknesses ranging from 5 to 16 mm; this robust construction counteracts mechanical forces, minimizes cabinet resonance, and enables impressively deep bass reproduction down to 28 Hz.

Internal processing at 96 kHz/24-bit with FIR filtering ensures linear-phase response and time coherence between the drivers.

For quick setup, the top-mounted control panel offers direct access to the input pad, 3-band EQ, desk and wall placement presets, and an 80 Hz high-pass filter.

Connectivity options include a balanced XLR line input, AES3 via XLR, and an AES3 Thru output for daisy-chaining.

Thanks to threaded mounting points and an M8 eyebolt, as well as compatibility with the tilt-and-swivel Gravity GSPWMBS20B mount, the ORBIT 11 can be securely mounted on walls or ceilings.
